Less synthetic, more natural fibers
At Anona Organic Clothing, we believe in less synthetic, more natural fibers. Our products are made with 95% organic cotton and 5% elastane, combining a natural fiber foundation with a small amount of stretch for flexibility and fit. In a world where synthetic materials like polyester are widely used in clothing, we choose to prioritize organic cotton. We also believe in greater transparency around textile treatments, including PFAS, which are used in some fabrics for water and stain resistance. We choose to put organic cotton first, creating a more natural alternative to the synthetic-heavy fabrics found in so much of today’s clothing.
Why Organic Cotton?
Organic cotton is grown under stricter farming standards that restrict certain synthetic chemicals, but it does not automatically mean the finished fabric is chemical-free. Dyes, finishes, and other treatments may still be used during manufacturing.
Transparency means being open and honest about what goes into your clothing, how it is made, and what treatments are used during production. With GOTS certification, you have greater assurance that certified organic textiles meet strict environmental and social criteria throughout the supply chain, including requirements for chemical inputs and processing. It helps promote responsible manufacturing, traceability, and greater confidence in the products you choose.
